01

The problem DDI addresses

Political fragmentation, limited trust, and unreliable resources make democratic cooperation difficult. DDI proposes a public, verifiable process for coordination, funding, and accountability.

02

Protocol principles

Public verification, defined authority, measurable execution, open participation, wallet-based privacy, and inspectable upgrades form the protocol's design foundation.

03

Eight-contract architecture

DDI, DDIG, Treasury, CitizenTax, Stacking, OfficerElection, CivilDutyMembership, and OKRGovernance work together to coordinate participation, elections, funding, and oversight.

04

DDI and DDIG roles

DDI supports funding, staking, candidate pledges, and rewards. DDIG establishes eligibility for elections and civil duty; it is not proof that a wallet represents a unique person.

05

Treasury and funding

The Treasury holds ETH and DDI and calculates an internal reserve ratio. That ratio is a protocol indicator, not a market price, redemption guarantee, valuation, or promise of liquidity.

06

Nomination and election

Long-term stakes qualify board members to nominate and financially back executive candidates. Eligible Global Citizens cast the votes that determine the elected officer.

07

Civic oversight and OKRs

The elected officer publishes objectives, measures, deadlines, and requested funding. Randomly selected civic committees review achievement and record outcomes on the public system.

08

Upgrades and verification

UUPS contracts can evolve, so a credible deployment must disclose proxy and implementation addresses, verified source, deployment and upgrade transactions, and administrators.
