The board’s role is nomination
Long-term participation helps form a visible board. Its election responsibility is limited to preparing and nominating qualified executive candidates. It does not choose the final officer.
This separation prevents one body from controlling both access to the ballot and the result. The board can assess readiness and establish a credible choice without taking the public vote away from Global Citizens.
Global Citizens make the decision
The election belongs to Global Citizens. Eligible citizen wallets vote through the public election process, and the recorded result determines the executive officer.
Because the process is connected to public smart contracts, participants can inspect the election rules and verify the resulting on-chain activity independently.
Accountability continues after the vote
Election is the beginning of executive responsibility, not the end. The officer proposes measurable public objectives, while citizen oversight and governance processes record whether those commitments succeed.
The result is a continuous path from nomination, to citizen election, to measurable execution and public review.
